PickBan Terms, Privacy and Risks
Version of 8 October 2026. Effective from [OWNER: public launch date].
In short:
- PickBan is a terminal for Polymarket esports markets. We are not Polymarket and are not affiliated with Polymarket.
- Trades are executed on Polymarket. Your money stays in your own wallet, not with us; you can export the key.
- PickBan charges 0.5% on market orders, on top of Polymarket's own fee. Limit orders: 0%.
- 18+ only.
- Not available in Russia, Belarus, the United States, the United Kingdom, EU countries where Polymarket is closed, and the other countries listed in section 5.
- Buying an outcome is risky: you can lose everything you put in. Nothing here is financial advice.
1. Terms of Use
1.1 Who we are
The PickBan service — the website pickban.app, the bot @pickban_bot and the channel @pickbanapp — is provided by [OWNER: name or company, country — fill in] ("we", "us"). Contact details are in section 7.
By using the website or the bot you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1.2 What PickBan is
- PickBan is an independent interface (terminal) for Polymarket prediction markets on esports: Dota 2, as well as CS2, League of Legends and Valorant. It shows markets and live prices as decimal odds, the order book and a calculator, and helps you send an order to Polymarket.
- PickBan is not Polymarket and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Polymarket or its companies. "Polymarket" is a trademark of its owner; we use the name only to say which venue the service works with.
- We are not a bookmaker, an exchange, a broker or a bank. We do not hold your money and we are not a party to your trades: every buy and sell is a trade between Polymarket users. It is executed under Polymarket's rules and recorded on the Polygon network.
- Polymarket decides which markets are open, their rules, prices, outcomes and payouts. We cannot cancel a trade, change a market outcome or return money spent in a trade.
- The service is currently in closed beta. Some features are still being tested and may change or be temporarily unavailable.
1.3 Who may use PickBan
You may use PickBan only if all of the following are true:
- you are at least 18 years old, or older if the law of the country you are in requires a higher age (section 4);
- you are not in a country listed in section 5, and the law of the place you are in does not prohibit you from using Polymarket;
- you are not on a sanctions list of the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU or the UN, and you are not acting for such a person;
- you act on your own behalf and with your own money of lawful origin;
- you comply with Polymarket's Terms of Use (polymarket.com/tos), which apply to every trade, including trades made through PickBan.
1.4 Sign-in and wallet
- Sign-in is provided by Privy, a sign-in and wallet service (see section 2). You can sign in with an email one-time code, with your own wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, OKX, Coinbase, Rainbow, WalletConnect) or — once we enable it — with Telegram.
- When you sign in with email (or Telegram), Privy creates a wallet for you. Its key is split into parts and kept in Privy's secure system; we never see or store the key. You can export the key in "Account" — the same wallet then opens in MetaMask and on polymarket.com (where Polymarket is permitted).
- When you sign in with your own wallet, the key stays with you only: you confirm every signature in your wallet.
- You are responsible for access to your email, for your exported key and your seed phrase. If you lose access to your email without having exported the key, nobody — neither we nor Privy — can restore your access.
- We never ask for your key, seed phrase or email code. Anyone who asks is a scammer.
- Where your money is and what to do if the site stops working: see "Where is my money" (pickban.app/money).
1.5 Deposits and withdrawals
- Deposits and withdrawals go through the Polymarket bridge (bridge.polymarket.com). We do not receive or forward your money.
- Networks, coins, minimum amounts, timing and bridge fees are set by the bridge. For example, USDT on TRC-20 is accepted from $2 at the time of this version.
- When you withdraw, the money goes to a one-time bridge address, and the bridge sends it to the address you entered, on the network you chose.
- Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed. A transfer on the wrong network, in the wrong coin or to a wrong address may be lost forever, and we cannot recover it. Check the network and the address before you confirm.
- We do not guarantee deposit or withdrawal times: they depend on the bridge, the networks and Polymarket.
- At the time of this version, selling and withdrawing through PickBan with real money are still being tested in the closed beta. Start with small amounts.
1.6 Orders
- A market order buys or sells at the best prices in the order book at that moment. The final price may be worse than shown; the order may fill partially or not at all.
- A limit order fills only if there is a matching order at your price. It may never fill.
- "Quick buy", "Instant", "Grid" and "Take out initial" are ways to send one or several orders. In quick buy mode a single tap on the odds sends a purchase immediately — turn it on deliberately.
- Odds are a conversion of the Polymarket price (odds = 1 / share price, rounded), not a promised payout. If the outcome happens, each share is worth $1; if not, $0.
- Prices, scores and match status on the site may lag or contain errors. If our wording of a market differs from the original, the original in the market rules on Polymarket prevails.
- Polymarket may reject an order: for example, if the market is closed, your country is restricted, your balance is too low or the exchange is in maintenance mode.
1.7 What you must not do
- bypass the country check or hide or fake your location by any means;
- use someone else's account or wallet, or let others use yours;
- create artificial volume, trade with yourself, manipulate prices or inflate statistics;
- launder money, evade sanctions or use money of unlawful origin;
- overload or attack the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our consent (if you find a vulnerability, please write to support@pickban.app — thank you);
- impersonate PickBan, our support or Polymarket.
If you break these rules, we may block your access to the website and the bot. Your wallet and money remain yours — you can still reach them with your exported key.
1.8 If the service stops working
PickBan depends on Polymarket, Privy, the bridge, the Polygon network and our hosting. The service may slow down, be interrupted or shut down — including if Polymarket disables our builder code or our access to its API. We will try to warn you in advance on the website and in the channel. In any case, your money and positions stay in your wallet on Polymarket. Export your key in advance, while everything works (pickban.app/money).
1.9 Not advice
Market data, channel posts, texts and calculators are information. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice and not a recommendation to buy or sell. You make your own decisions.
1.10 Liability
- The service is provided "as is". We do not promise any result, uninterrupted operation or accuracy of data.
- We are not liable for losses caused by market outcomes and price movements; by decisions of Polymarket or UMA; by failures of Polymarket, Privy, the bridge, the Polygon network or wallets; by your own mistakes (network, address, amount, lost key or email access); or by scammers impersonating us.
- If we are nevertheless liable by law, our liability is limited to the PickBan fees you paid in the last 12 months. [OWNER: check the liability cap with a lawyer]
- This does not affect rights that the law of your country does not allow to be limited.
1.11 Taxes
Recording your trades, paying taxes and filing reports in the country where you are a tax resident is your responsibility. We do not withhold taxes and do not give tax advice.
1.12 Names and materials
The PickBan name, logo and site design belong to us. Names and logos of teams, tournaments and games belong to their owners. "Polymarket" is a trademark of its owner. Market data comes from Polymarket.
1.13 Changes
We may change these terms. A new version is published on this page with its date. We will announce material changes (fees, country list, data processing) on the website and in the channel at least 7 days in advance. If you keep using the service after the changes take effect, you accept them.
1.14 Disputes
Please write to us first (section 7) — we will reply within 30 days. Governing law and venue: [OWNER: country and court or arbitration — decide with a lawyer].
2. Privacy
2.1 Who is responsible for your data
[OWNER: name or company, country — fill in]. Questions and data requests: support@pickban.app, subject "Data".
2.2 What we store
| Where | What we store | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bot @pickban_bot — waitlist | Telegram ID, username (if you have one), language (Russian or English — based on your Telegram language), source tag — which link brought you now and which one first, your answer to "do you trade on Polymarket", time of sign-up | to send a beta invite to this chat; to see which links work | until you send /stop, but no longer than 6 months after the public launch. On /stop the record is erased at once: only a dated "deleted" mark remains, without your Telegram ID, username or tags |
| Bot @pickban_bot — log | Telegram ID, every /start with its link tag and language, your answers to both questions (including "no" and "not sure"), time | to see which links work; not to ask the questions again after a server restart | 6 months: the server deletes older lines itself once a day. On /stop your /start presses and answers are erased from the log at once |
| Channel @pickbanapp | when the bot is a channel admin: the Telegram ID of everyone who joins or leaves, the name of the invite link if you came through one, time | to see which placements bring people | 6 months: the server deletes older lines itself once a day. /stop does not erase this record — to delete it sooner, email us (section 2.9) |
| Form on the PickBan page (Russian and English) | email, language, source tag, result of the country check ("allowed" or "could not check" — the form does not accept sign-ups from closed countries), a random page-view number (it links the record to the events of that page view), time | to send a beta invite and one launch email | until you ask us to delete it, but no longer than 6 months after the public launch |
| Events on the PickBan page | what happened (page opened, country check finished, button clicked, question or rules opened, language switched, etc.) and what was clicked; page, language, source tag, result of the country check (not the country itself), a random page-view number, time. For a page view also: phone or computer, and a "visitor of the day" fingerprint (section 2.3) | statistics without tracking: how many people came and from where | up to 6 months: older files are deleted by the server automatically |
| Short links pickban.app/go/… | the link's tag and post number, where the link leads, the site you came from (domain only, no page address), phone or computer, a "visitor of the day" fingerprint (section 2.3), time of the click | to count clicks | up to 6 months: deleted together with the events |
| Terminal sign-in | nothing is written to files: when needed (for example, for the "Account" page) our server asks Privy for your ID, email or Telegram username and wallet addresses; the answer is kept only in the server's memory and disappears on restart | sign-in, "Account" page | not stored in files |
| Support messages | your email or username and your message | to reply | up to 12 months after our reply |
More about the terminal: to send an order to Polymarket with the PickBan code, the site sends our server a description of the request to Polymarket (for example, the order parameters) and receives our builder code signature. The server does not write this data down; it only counts how many signatures each user has received in the last 10 minutes and in the last hour, so that nobody can overload the service. The counter lives in memory and disappears when the server restarts.
2.3 What we do not collect
- We do not write IP addresses to our files. To fight spam, the server keeps counters of requests from one address in memory for up to 15 minutes; the address is never written to files and disappears on restart. [OWNER: if the hosting or proxy server keeps access logs with IP addresses, state their retention period here]
- For landing page statistics, the server computes a short "visitor of the day" fingerprint from the IP address and the browser family (for example, "Chrome on a phone"), so that one person is not counted twice. It uses a random salt that lives only in memory and changes every day (at midnight UTC). So the IP address cannot be recovered from the fingerprint, and fingerprints from different days cannot be linked. The IP address itself is not written down.
- We do not set cookies on the PickBan page (landing page), and we use no advertising pixels or third-party visitor counters.
- We do not ask for your name, phone number, address, date of birth or documents. Polymarket may, under its own rules, ask you to verify your identity — that happens on Polymarket's side.
- We never see or store wallet keys.
2.4 What is stored in your browser
- Landing page: the source tag (from the link you came by) is kept in the tab's storage (sessionStorage). It is erased when you close the tab. No cookies.
- Terminal: Privy keeps your sign-in data in the browser. The site keeps your Polymarket wallet address and your bridge deposit addresses (so it does not have to ask again) and, until you close the tab, a temporary Polymarket access key for orders (it cannot be used to withdraw money). All of this stays on your device. To erase it, sign out and clear the site data in your browser settings.
2.5 Who receives data
- Privy (USA) — sign-in and wallets. Sees your email or Telegram, wallet addresses, IP address, device and browser details. Works under our data processing agreement and its own privacy policy (privy.io).
- Polymarket — orders, trades, wallet address. Your browser talks to Polymarket's servers directly: for prices, the order book and market images, for orders and for the country check (both the PickBan page and the "Account" page run it). So Polymarket sees your IP address. Polymarket's own terms and privacy policy apply.
- The Polymarket bridge and the companies that run it — addresses, networks and amounts of deposits and withdrawals.
- The Polygon network — public to everyone (section 2.6).
- WalletConnect — if you connect a wallet through WalletConnect, the connection goes through its servers.
- Telegram — the bot and the channel run on Telegram's servers, under its rules. For each new waitlist entry (from the bot or the form), the bot sends the PickBan owner a short Telegram message: username or email (the email only partly, e.g. ab***@mail.com), language, source tag and the answer about Polymarket.
- Hosting: [OWNER: server provider and data-centre country].
- Email service for waitlist emails: [OWNER: which service — or remove this line if there will be no emails].
- Google Fonts — the terminal currently loads a font from Google's servers, so Google sees your IP address. The landing page loads fonts from our own server.
- Public authorities — only where we are legally required.
We do not sell data and do not show third-party ads.
2.6 The blockchain is public
Every trade, deposit and withdrawal is permanently recorded on the Polygon network and visible to everyone: wallet address, amounts, markets, time, and the PickBan builder code, which shows that the trade was made through PickBan. Nobody can delete or hide these records — neither we nor Polymarket. If your wallet address is linked to you (for example, if you publish it), anyone can see your trading history.
2.7 Legal grounds
- Consent — the waitlist (bot and form). You can withdraw it at any time: /stop in the bot or an email.
- Your request to use the service — sign-in and the terminal.
- Our legitimate interest — protection against spam and abuse, landing page statistics, counting short-link clicks, bot taps and channel joins.
- Law — where we are required to keep or disclose data.
2.8 International transfers
Data is processed in several countries, including the USA (Privy) and [OWNER: data-centre country]. Standard contractual clauses on data protection apply with Privy.
2.9 Your rights
You can find out what we store about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; get a copy; withdraw consent; complain to the data protection authority of your country.
How:
- /stop in the bot @pickban_bot removes you from the waitlist and erases your /start presses and answers from the bot log;
- everything else, including deleting the channel join record for your Telegram ID — email support@pickban.app with the subject "Data". Write from the email or account the request is about, so we can tell the data is yours. We reply within 30 days.
Deleting your account. On request, we will ask Privy to delete your sign-in account. Export your key and withdraw your money first: once the Privy account is deleted, access to the embedded wallet without an exported key is lost forever. Blockchain records cannot be deleted.
2.10 Under 18
The service is for people aged 18 and over only. If we learn that someone under 18 has given us data, we will delete it and block their access to the website and the bot.
2.11 Security
Only [OWNER: who exactly] has access to the data files. The service's secret keys are stored separately from the code. No protection is perfect: in case of a data leak we will report it on the website, in the channel and — if we know your email — by email, without undue delay.
2.12 Changes
As in section 1.13: a new dated version on this page; material changes announced at least 7 days in advance.
3. Risks
Please read this before your first purchase. Buying an outcome on a prediction market is essentially a bet on the outcome of a match. Only use money you are prepared to lose in full.
- You can lose everything you put in. If the outcome does not happen, your shares are worth $0 — you lose the whole amount, fees included. Low odds do not mean "no risk": at odds of 1.11, one loss wipes out the winnings of about nine to ten successful purchases of the same size.
- Prices move fast, and you cannot always sell. During a match the price can swing in seconds. There may be no buyers at a fair price in the order book — then you cannot exit the position, or only at a big loss. A market order may fill at a worse price than shown, or only partially.
- Polymarket decides the outcome, not us. Outcomes of Polymarket markets are usually confirmed through the UMA system: an outcome is proposed, it can be disputed, and disputes are decided by a vote of UMA token holders. This can take hours or days. The decision may differ from what you saw on screen: a rematch, a forfeit, a postponed or cancelled match, a data error. What happens to the market in such cases is set by the rules of that market on Polymarket; sometimes a market resolves at 50/50. We cannot change or appeal an outcome.
- Polymarket can change the rules. Polymarket may close or pause a market, change rules and fees, restrict a country, ask you to verify your identity, freeze an account, or disable the PickBan builder code or our access to its API. PickBan may then stop working. Your money stays in your wallet, but you will have to use it through polymarket.com — where it is permitted.
- Countries and laws. Some countries treat prediction markets as gambling: there can be fines, blocking and, in some places, criminal liability. Laws change quickly: in 2026 Polymarket was blocked in several countries. The country check can be wrong. Complying with the law of the place you are in is your responsibility. Faking your location breaks Polymarket's rules and can lead to frozen funds.
- Smart contracts, bridges and networks. The smart contracts of Polymarket, the bridge and its providers, Privy and wallets may contain bugs or be hacked. The Polygon network may fail. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed: a mistake in the network or address means losing the money.
- Stablecoin rates. Your Polymarket balance is held in pUSD, Polymarket's dollar, while deposits and withdrawals use USDT, USDC and other coins. These coins can lose their dollar peg. When converting, the rate and bridge fees may differ from what you expect. The dollar's rate against your local currency also changes.
- Fees. Polymarket and PickBan fees, plus bridge and network fees, reduce your result. With frequent market orders they add up noticeably (examples in section 6).
- Access and scammers. If you lose access to your email without having exported the key, you lose access to the wallet. Scammers create fake websites, bots and "support" and ask for your key, seed phrase or email code. Our real addresses are only those in section 7.
- Beta. At the time of this version, selling and withdrawing through PickBan with real money are still being tested. Features change, bugs are possible, data on the site may lag. Start with small amounts.
- Publicity. All your trades and your wallet address are visible to everyone on the blockchain forever (section 2.6).
- Taxes are your responsibility (section 1.11).
- Gambling harm. Warning signs: you want to win back losses, you stake more than planned, you borrow money, you hide it from people close to you. Take a break, decide in advance how much you are prepared to lose per month and do not go over it. If it is hard to stop, talk to a specialist or a Gamblers Anonymous group in your country (gamblersanonymous.org). On request, we will delete your sign-in account (section 2.9).
4. Age 18+
- PickBan is only for people aged 18 and over. If the law of the country you are in requires a higher age, that age applies. For example, the gambling age is 21 in Armenia and 25 in Georgia; if prediction markets are treated as gambling there, that age applies.
- Polymarket also requires users to be at least 18.
- By using the service you confirm your age. We do not check documents, but if we learn that a user is under 18, we will delete their data and block access.
5. Countries
PickBan is not available in the countries and regions below. List as of 8 October 2026:
- Russia, Belarus, the United States (including the U.S. Minor Outlying Islands), the United Kingdom;
- EU countries where Polymarket is closed or restricted: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovakia;
- Asia and Oceania: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Myanmar, North Korea;
- Middle East and Africa: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zimbabwe;
- Americas: Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua;
- regions that Polymarket closes itself (for example, Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, some Canadian provinces) — we learn these from Polymarket's check;
- any countries, regions and persons under sanctions of the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU or the UN.
How we check: on the PickBan page and on the "Account" page, your browser asks Polymarket where you are connecting from and shows the result. From countries where Polymarket only allows closing positions, Polymarket itself does not accept new purchases. We invite people to the closed beta only from countries where PickBan is available. If the country check fails, that is not a permission: the rules of this section still apply.
We do not help anyone get around restrictions, and we delete such advice in the channel and chat. In some countries Polymarket only allows closing existing positions — do that under Polymarket's rules.
The list changes with Polymarket's rules. The current list is always on this page.
6. Fees
- PickBan: 0.5% of the cost of the shares in every market order — both buying and selling (when selling, of the proceeds). Limit orders that rest in the order book until another order fills them: 0%. The PickBan fee is collected by Polymarket through our builder code at the moment of the trade; we charge nothing separately.
- Polymarket charges its own fee on market orders. On Dota 2 markets at the time of this version it is 5% × price × (1 − price) per share. A limit order that rests in the order book and is then filled by another order does not pay this fee.
- If your limit price immediately matches orders in the book, that part fills as a market order and pays market order fees — both Polymarket's and PickBan's.
- The bridge and networks charge their own deposit and withdrawal fees. These are not our fees.
- PickBan charges nothing for sign-in, deposits, withdrawals or subscriptions.
Total cost of a market purchase on Dota 2 (approximate, as a share of the cost of the shares bought):
| Odds | Polymarket fee | PickBan fee | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.11 | ≈0.5% | 0.5% | ≈1.0% |
| 1.50 | ≈1.7% | 0.5% | ≈2.2% |
| 2.00 | ≈2.5% | 0.5% | ≈3.0% |
| 3.00 | ≈3.3% | 0.5% | ≈3.8% |
| 5.00 | ≈4.0% | 0.5% | ≈4.5% |
| Limit order filled by another order | 0% | 0% | 0% |
Example: a $100 market purchase at odds of 2.00 — about $2.40 goes to the Polymarket fee, $0.50 to the PickBan fee and about $97.10 to the shares themselves.
On other games and markets the Polymarket fee may be different. The order form shows both fees before you press "buy" or "sell".
The PickBan rate is visible in Polymarket's public builder table; the site shows the current rate from Polymarket's settings. We will announce any change to our fee on the website and in the channel at least 7 days in advance.
7. Contact
- Operator: [OWNER: name or company, country — fill in]
- Email: support@pickban.app — questions, complaints, data requests (subject "Data"), vulnerability reports
- Telegram support: @pickban_support
- Bot: @pickban_bot — beta waitlist; /stop removes you from the list

We usually reply within [OWNER: time frame, e.g. 2 business days]; data requests within 30 days.
How to avoid scams. PickBan people never DM you first. Beta invites come only from the bot @pickban_bot — and only to people who signed up in it themselves. We never ask for your key, seed phrase or email code, and never ask you to send money "for verification". Accounts with similar names are not us.
